The Guest was Anthony Stewart Head from Buffy . He has recently starred in a film named Manchild.
Vaughn - How do you like working with men of your own age rather than children?
Head - The cast of Buffy are in their twenties,
passing themselves off as teenagers, which was hard on them.
Giles was a man in his forties who in his head was already in his fifties.
Vaughn - You're now working on a new series named The Watcher.
Head - Joss Whedon always wanted to do a BBC show.
I suggested he set it in the West Country.
Vaughn - Near your house?
Head - I pitched it to him, I'm not an idiot.
I pitched it - a land steeped in Myth and Legend.
Vaughn - Do you still see Sarah Michelle Gellar?
Head - Yes, I see all of them.
Vaughn - Could you tell us, just for the website,
when will she next be in Britain?
Head - I don't know.
There's a big Convention coming up,
James and a bunch of them are coming over.
We get a serious Science Documentary on the theory of Parallel Universes. Yes, Physics scientists talk about comparatively recent revelations about the nature of the universe.
In the 1980s Physicists tried to explain the universe with String Theory, based on the principle of ten dimensional space. But when they tried to explain the Big Bang they discovered they had five competing theories.
In competition was Super-Gravity Theory, based on the principle of eleven dimensional space. By adding the eleventh dimension, the five String Theories all turned out to be aspects of the same theory!
The new Theory states that the String is actually a membrane. This led to Membrane Theory, or M-Theory - nicknamed by sceptics the Madness, Magic or Mystery Theory. The Membrane is incredibly long and thin, the mother of all strings.
This spawned a new explanation for the weakness of Gravity. Perhaps Gravity was leaking from our Universe into the 11th Dimesion. Perhaps Gravity was leaking from the 11th Dimesion into our Universe. This would require another Universe at the other end of the 11th Dimension - a Parallel Universe! The more Physicists who looked at this, the more Parallel Universes they discovered!
The ultimate proof of such a theory would be an explanation for the Big Bang. In 2001 it was suggested that the Big Bang was caused by the collision of two parallel universes!
