A group of women are stuck in a cottage in the mountains of Snowdonia, Wales. The apocalypse has happened, and they are apparently the sole survivors.
In a series of flashbacks, we discover the women were on a hen weekend - the British equivalent of a bachelorette party. They had a token man along, a male stripper. As a result, he is now the last man known to be alive.
The hens have discovered another survivor - a pilates instructor named Chloe. They take her home to use her first-aid skills on their injured friend Jen. Of course, they have to keep their male prisoner secret.
In a series of flashbacks, we see one of the girls has a secret.
The hen party have their first battle against their newly-discovered arch-enemies, the Pilates instructors from the nearby conference. This is of course done for comedic effect, like in Labyrinth .
The hens plot their next move, as they seemingly have a global monopoly on sperm. However, they also have to deal with Jan, their injured friend in the basement. Her gangrene has led her to halucinate she is seeing Danny Dyer ( The Last Seven (2010) ), and the others may have to amputate her gangrenous leg.
In a series of flashbacks, we discover that Gary was unfaithful more than once.
The bride's mother furthers her plan to monopolise the world's sperm supply. She dresses herself up to seduce the sperm donor. This differentiates the post-apocalyptic scenes from the flashbacks, when she was wearing her regular clothes.
The flashbacks reveal Michelle's continued affair. This feeds into the main storyline, as she has to go looking for a pregnancy test. Worse, the pilates instructors are still on the prowl.
Jen is still on the run with Danny Dyer ( The Last Seven (2010) ). He actually seems to be giving her good advice, despite being a gangrene-induced halucination.
The others will have to go ahead without Jen. They are prepared to move off with the male stripper, although the bride insists on staying for her fiance.
The pilates instructors have Gary, and want to swap him for the male stripper. Will the Hens agree to the trade? Will the pilates team make good on the agreement?
Jen has to choose - live happily ever after with Danny Dyer ( The Last Seven (2010) ), or go save the Hens.
This ends on a cliffhanger, with at least three of the characters facing death.
