    Urban Gothic (2000)

    Season 2

Urban Gothic (2000) Urban Gothic (2000) [Season 2, Episode 1] Sandman
    Shown 22nd October 2001

A reality-based gameshow is being filmed in a TV studio. A handful of contestants must stand and touch a sports car without falling asleep or letting go. The last man standing wins the car. However, after 86 hours in the studio things start to go bump in the night.

The only real mystery is why they picked this as a Season opener.

Urban Gothic (2000) Urban Gothic (2000) [Season 2, Episode 2] Membrane
    Shown 29th October 2001

A team of investigators enter a mad scientist's lab complex. This is sub- Blair Witch stuff, with the investigator's cameras transmitting their adventures back to their boss.

Urban Gothic (2000) Urban Gothic (2000) [Season 2, Episode 3] Necromance
    Shown 5th November 2001

A High School in England, and a mid-teens girl has a crush on a boy in her class. He ignores her, so she uses East European magic to put a love spell on him ...

Urban Gothic (2000) Urban Gothic (2000) [Season 2, Episode 4] Eater
    Shown 12th November 2001

This is well-executed cross between The Thing and The X-Files . It is night shift at a London Metropolitan Police Station, and a serial-killer called The Eater is in the cells. The hero, a new young police officer, becomes paranoid that the killer has somehow escaped and shape-changed to replace one of the other officers on guard ...

Urban Gothic (2000) Urban Gothic (2000) [Season 2, Episode 5] Serotonin Wild
    Shown 19th November 2001

A trio of teenagers have a counselling session with creepy shrink Mr Tidyman (Anthony Daniels - Star Wars ). The next day they find themselves framed for murder, and are given exactly one hour to kill the thing they love the most.

This is a somewhat Americanised episode, with lots of handguns and a SWAT team. The central character is a tough babe, quite reminiscent of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider . In turn, this detracts from the concept that made the show so original to begin with. However, it is great to see C-3PO as a villain!

Urban Gothic (2000) Urban Gothic (2000) [Season 2, Episode 6] The End
    Shown 25th December 2001

Urban Gothic (2000) Urban Gothic (2000) [Season 2, Episode 7] Ritual Slaughter
    Shown 16th November 2001

Urban Gothic (2000) Urban Gothic (2000) [Season 2, Episode 8] Dollhouse Burns (1)
    Shown 28th December 2001

Urban Gothic (2000) Urban Gothic (2000) [Season 2, Episode 9] Dollhouse Burns (2)
    Shown 28th December 2001
