Frank Black's wife works as Victim Support in Seattle, and this time she has to deal with a 33-year-old woman who claims she has been sexually abused by her father for 20 years. The father is a respectable businessman, with contacts at City Hall.
The allegations of incest make for a complicated storyline: she's my sister, she's my daughter, she's my sister AND my daughter! Frank Black gets a couple of obligatory scenes, since he's the star of the show, but most of the episode is weepy victim/survivor stuff. Since Chris Carter wrote this episode himself, it must have been a personal decision for him to run this story. It certainly has nothing to offer as part of this series.
A man breaks into a family's home, kills the parents and locks up their little girl. Frank Black investigates, while his wife does the Victim Support thing with the traumatised young girl.
Roger R. Cross [ First Wave ] is a police patrolman.
Yet another dreary depressing child-abuse story. This time the twenty-ish victim gets her redneck boyfriend to help her abduct the abuser, her stepfather, and find her kidnapped son. However, the boyfriend is a cop-killing maniac ...

Someone in Boulder, Colorado, is drugging couples, then photographing them having sex ... and murdering them. Frank Black and a female associate are called in to help, while the redneck detective in charge intimidates the witnesses.
13. 1-13 4C12 7 Feb 97 Force Majeure
A copycat serial killer is stalking the city. Frank Black visits his nemesis, the original killer, currently in Hannibal Lecter-style incarceration.
15. 1-15 4C14 21 Feb 97 Sacrament 16. 1-16 4C16 21 Mar 97 Covenant
Frank and the Millennium Group investigate an illegal drugs test. Frank has vague memories of the testing session, which went badly wrong and possibly killed one of the patients.
18. 1-18 4C17 18 Apr 97 Lamentation (1)
A serial killer, a Hannibal Lecter carbon-copy who Frank Black captured, disappears from a hospital ward. Black returns to the FBI Behaviour Sciences Unit. However, the villain decides to target Frank's family. A regular character is killed off.
A Serial Killer is doing evil deeds in a horse-rearing valley. Ingrid Kavelaars pops up in the pre-credits sequence as a woman who disturbs the man during his grisly work ...
The episode starts in a scene reminiscent of Metropolis - it is Chernobyl ... just before the meltdown.
We move forward over a decade, and a serial killer is wiping out Russians living in Brooklyn. Bill Nunn [Things To Do In Denver When You're Dead] plays the detective who investigates the case. Brian Downey [ Lexx ] appears as the coroner.
Frank Black, his wife and kid all head off to Arlington, Virginia, for a family get-together with the in-laws. As always in this kind of show, a holiday is an excuse for a coincidence that leads to a murder-mystery. Yes, Frank stumbles across yet another serial killer.
Frank profiles a man who is accused of killing his own wife. The man does not fit Frank's profile for such a crime, and it is frighteningly realistic to see how an innocent man could be jailed [on minimal evidence] for a crime he did not commit.
The Polaroid Man [Doug Hutchison - Green Mile ] abducts Frank Black's wife, and starts playing mind-games with her.
It's something to do with comets and meteors. Very astrological ...
People in a small town are attacked by a pack of wild dogs. Frank and the Millennium Group investigate.
Frank hunts for a man who is apparently infected with a highly contagious virus.
Frank Black and Kirsten Cloke investigate child-abuse at a day-care centre.
An archaeological excavation at a ancient Native American burial ground uncovers a fresh corpse. Frank Black investigates, and uncovers secret religious rituals.
Frank's visions seem to fit into the Native American religion and their belief in another world. Unfortunately, they also think he is part of their prophecy!
Frank has flashbacks and visions concerning a man who died in Frank's childhood. Dean Winters [Oz] plays the ghost.
This features a wonderful parody of Scientology. This has got to be the best episode ever!
Frank Black and the Millennium group try to solve a murder. Along for the ride is Jose Chung, hack SciFi writer. He's being targetted himself.
Chung's fictionalised version of Frank is a wonderful parody of the show.

Lesbian convict Missy Crider and her bull-dyke cellmate escape from a very insecure prison. Frank has to help Ed Lauter track them down.
It turns out that Missy is mysteriously pregnant, and secretly involved with a cult of the Virgin Mary.
Frank's wife is called in as a school counsellor. Some schoolgirls have formed a non-Coven, the opposite of The Craft . They are Xian fundamentalists, who believe they are chosen by the Virgin Mary. A Cult is involved, possibly linked to the previous ep.
Kristen Cloke represents the Millennium Group in the investigation.
This is unbelievable - an ep that's original and good! 4 demons [great casting and makeup] meet in a diner to talk over past jobs. Frank Black has cameos in all their stories!
1] A serial killer tries to break the existing record.
2] Creating suicidal depression with minor irritations.
3] Mass Damnation: The censor's tale. The demon tries to drive him insane with an Ally McBeal parody, featuring a demon baby. Apparently insane people lose their souls! The censor falls into the depressed man's way of life - attending a strip-club (which is then censored for the viewing public). We also get parodies of X-Files and alien autopsy - the result is a film entitled When Humans attack!
4] stripper [suicide's a sin???]

Frank is now working with a female FBI Agent [the black chick from Intelligence]. This adds a real element of jeopardy: we know Frank will survive, but she might easily become a secrificial lamb.
One of Frank's early cases is being made into a cheesy slasher flick. However, a serial killer is bumping off the cast and crew, in ways that resemble scenes from famous slasher films! In a sense this quite resembles Jose Chung's Doomsday Defense ...
A mass grave is uncovered. Frank suspects a sinister coverup is going on - the FBI and the Millennium Group could be involved!
This is a very downbeat ep, even for this show. The conspiracy theme is very X-Files , and it's good to see the older show's ethos being evoked again.
A child-killer is paroled from jail ... and soon after, a young girl is abducted. The crime seems identical to the first one.
Frank and his partner must find the girl before it's too late. Unfortunately, there's an outbreak of vigilantism.

A Jewish group kidnap a pregnant woman. Their plan is to raise the child as their Messiah.
