    Shown 15th October 2001 - Monday

Frank Black's wife works as Victim Support in Seattle, and this time she has to deal with a 33-year-old woman who claims she has been sexually abused by her father for 20 years. The father is a respectable businessman, with contacts at City Hall.

The allegations of incest make for a complicated storyline: she's my sister, she's my daughter, she's my sister AND my daughter! Frank Black gets a couple of obligatory scenes, since he's the star of the show, but most of the episode is weepy victim/survivor stuff. Since Chris Carter wrote this episode himself, it must have been a personal decision for him to run this story. It certainly has nothing to offer as part of this series.

Millennium Millennium [Season 1, Episode 21] Maranatha

    Shown 6th November 2001 - Tuesday

The episode starts in a scene reminiscent of Metropolis - it is Chernobyl ... just before the meltdown.

Millennium Millennium [Season 1, Episode 22] Paper Dove (1)
    Shown 16 May 97
    Shown 8th November 2001 - Thursday

Frank Black, his wife and kid all head off to Arlington, Virginia, for a family get-together with the in-laws. As always in this kind of show, a holiday is an excuse for a coincidence that leads to a murder-mystery. Yes, Frank stumbles across yet another serial killer.

Frank profiles a man who is accused of killing his own wife. The man does not fit Frank's profile for such a crime, and it is frighteningly realistic to see how an innocent man could be jailed [on minimal evidence] for a crime he did not commit.

Millennium Millennium [Season 2, Episode 21] Somehow, Satan Got Behind Me
    Shown 1 May 98

This is unbelievable - an ep that's original and good! 4 demons [great casting and makeup] meet in a diner to talk over past jobs. Frank Black has cameos in all their stories!

1] A serial killer tries to break the existing record.

2] Creating suicidal depression with minor irritations.

3] Mass Damnation: The censor's tale. The demon tries to drive him insane with an Ally McBeal parody, featuring a demon baby. Apparently insane people lose their souls! The censor falls into the depressed man's way of life - attending a strip-club (which is then censored for the viewing public). We also get parodies of X-Files and alien autopsy - the result is a film entitled When Humans attack!

    4] stripper [suicide's a sin???]

Millennium Millennium [Season 3, Episode 5] ...Thirteen Years Later
    Shown 30 Oct 98
    Shown 11th April 2007 [wednesday]

Frank is now working with a female FBI Agent [the black chick from Intelligence]. This adds a real element of jeopardy: we know Frank will survive, but she might easily become a secrificial lamb.

One of Frank's early cases is being made into a cheesy slasher flick. However, a serial killer is bumping off the cast and crew, in ways that resemble scenes from famous slasher films! In a sense this quite resembles Jose Chung's Doomsday Defense ...

Millennium Millennium [Season 3, Episode 6] Skull and Bones
    Shown 6 Nov 98
    Shown 11th April 2007 [wednesday]

A mass grave is uncovered. Frank suspects a sinister coverup is going on - the FBI and the Millennium Group could be involved!

This is a very downbeat ep, even for this show. The conspiracy theme is very X-Files , and it's good to see the older show's ethos being evoked again.

    Shown 13 Nov 98

A child-killer is paroled from jail ... and soon after, a young girl is abducted. The crime seems identical to the first one.
