Much like in The Event , a group of alien refugees landed and were rounded up by the US Military.
The alien teenagers, who look like and talk like Caucasian-Americans, with a few strange freckles and blotchy neck tattoos, are ordered to integrate into the local human High School. The result is closer to Heartbreak High than to Alien Nation . Admittedly they look like twenty-somethings about ten years too old to be in a High School … but this is a standard casting tactic in this kind of show.
Roman (Matt Lanter - Timeless ) is the Edward character in this little Twilight Rehash.
The Alien jock wants to join the Alien terrorists, who are out to get revenge on the human species for incarcerating them in quarantine.
The anti-alien terrorists (AKA the Redhawks) are planning a massacre of the refugees.
The Alien terrorists plan to kidnap the High School jock. His parents are leaders of the Redhawks.
The Australian-Asian babe from Sarah Connor Chronicles is hanging around, as duplicitous as ever.
Roman (Matt Lanter - Timeless ) helps his uncle negotiate a truce with the Trags, the vicious anti-human terrorists. The Trags want a specific prisoner released from lock-up. This leads us to a conspiracy regarding how the aliens managed to crash-land on Earth in the first place.
Roman’s uncle has his secret revealed. However, he still has enough supporters to retain his power-base in the ghetto.
A sudden drop in air pressure over the alien ship causes a hurricane. The school goes into lockdown, so a number of sub-plots come together in a confined space.
The ex-girlfriend of Roman (Matt Lanter - Timeless ) drugs him with an alien disinhibitor. This means he loses his temper at the slightest provocation. It also acts as a roofie, so the ex can take advantage of him. Luckily, the big meat-headed alien jock-alpha (his former best friend) knows the symptoms, presumably because he was an addict himself at one stage.
The biology teacher and her creepy murderous boss test the blood sample from the girl who received alien medicine. They manage to be even creepier than the alien terrorist who drug-rapes her ex-boyfriend and steals plutonium from the school’s nuclear reactor.
Roman (Matt Lanter - Timeless ) has a couple of problems. His creepy uncle Castor tries to have him assassinated, and the Trag terrorists are building a nuclear-powered device.
