Lost Girl

Season 1

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 1, Episode 1] It's a Fae, Fae, Fae, Fae World
Shown 12/Sep/10

A thieving little bitch picks the pocket of a drunken salesman. But the lonely man is looking for company for the night, and gives her a drink. Then they are interrupted by a serial killer ...

The Serial Killer turns out to be the title character. There is a reason that, despite supposedly being 28 years old she has the maturity of someone ten years older. She is a succubus who feeds on human sexual energy ... And the actress who plays her is ten years older than the character she plays! She also played a lesbian character in Being Erica , which means she does not object to kissing other actresses. Good thing, because the Succubus is bisexual - although she uses her seduction skills on women and unprovoked violence on men.

The supernatural underworld soon discover she has been littering the place with corpses. They make her choose between Good and Evil. When she refuses, they put her in Thunderdome and make her fight to the death. Luckily she somehow has expert sword-fighting skills. While she claims she only killed to satisfy her urges, she also has no emotional problem with slicing a victim into little pieces either.

Emanuelle Vaugier is the Morrigun, the leader of the Dark Fae (the evil Faeries).

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 1, Episode 2] Where There's A Will, There's A Fae
Shown 19/Sep/10

Our heroines, the klepto and the serial killer, set up home as flat-mates. Like Xena: Warrior Princess and Gabrielle the battling bard. The Serial Killer is bisexual, of course, making this a deliberate reference.

The Succubus tries to help her underdog clients while searching for her origins. This week it is Will-o-the-wisp, who looks and smells like a homeless man. He does not even SOUND like Kenneth Williams. But he has a clue to her origins as a foundling. It seems to have been stolen from the plot of Kung Fu Panda 2 .

Naturally, the bodies start to mount up. The Succubus still uses seduction on women and violence on men. Luckily for the male cop, the only way she can safely keep her powers is by having sex with him ...

The villains of the week are headless horsemen, although they do not actually have horses. They are immune to bullets, although not to getting stabbed to death. Which is very convenient for our heroine.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 1, Episode 3] Oh Kappa, My Kappa
Shown 26/Sep/10

Young women are going missing on a College campus. Bo and Kenzi go undercover to investigate. Kenzi passes herself off as a student. Bo is too mature to be an undergrad (the character is 28, the actress is 38!) so she seduces the staff instead.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 1, Episode 4] Faetal Attraction
Shown 03/Oct/10

Bo hooks up with a pair of supernatural swingers for a threesome. But it turns out that sexual obsession and jealousy have raised their ugly heads.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 1, Episode 5] Dead Lucky
Shown 17/Oct/10

Bo is hired by a Dark Fae Bookie. He was ripped off by a supernaturally cheating punter, and he wants to know how. The price is access to an Oracle who can tell Bo's future, and perhaps find her mother.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 1, Episode 6] Food for Thought
Shown 24/Oct/10

Doctor Lauren ( Zoie Palmer ) takes Bo out on a test-run, to see if she can control her Succubus powers. After the not-a-date they go on a Doctors run, to check on a Fae who got sick after eating human flesh. Unfortunatelty, Kenzi the thief helps herself, and gets contaminated by whatever infected the Fae.

Contradictions abound. When Bo comes on to someone, it is called seduction - but when a man flirts with her, we are meant to think of him as a lech or a sexy harrassment type. Bo can defeat a biker in a fist-fight, but must resort to her potentially lethal succubus powers to take out a homosexual security man.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 1, Episode 7] ArachnoFaebia
Shown 31/Oct/10

A Fae spider is on the loose, causing victims to hallucinate and get violent. Bo and Kenzi get infected. The cop and the Doc must overcome their personality clash so they can find the cure. But TPTB have a scorched earth policy.

Kenzi gets a love interest. What are the chances he will not live long enough to see the end of the episode?

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 1, Episode 10] The Mourning After
Shown 21/Nov/10

Women are killing themselves from the shame of a one-night stand. There is no law against sex or suicide, so the cops cannot do anything. Bo and Kenzi get hired to go speed-dating with suspects. They uncover another succubus, who can teach Bo the ropes.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 1, Episode 11] Faetal Justice
Shown 28/Nov/10

Rob Stewart ( Amazon ) guest-stars as Lyle Harrison.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 1, Episode 12] (Dis)Members Only
Shown 05/Dec/10

Illegal immigrants working as staff at an elitist gated community are going missing. Kenzi owes someone a favour, so she goes undercover as a worker herself. She chooses to be a Latino maid, although she could have been a Russian expat instead (like the actress herself).

Bo and Dyson (Kris Holden-Ried - Underworld 3 ) pose as a married couple. They fit together very well, but she insists they be honest with each other. She is holding back about the Dark Fae succubus she befriended, and he still knows more about her parentage than she is letting on.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 1, Episode 13] Bloodlines
Shown 12/Dec/10

Bo discovers who her mother is. Unfortunately, her mother is a bloodthirsty psycho who wants to destroy the Fae, both light and dark. It turns out that Bo is the only one who can stop her.

Dyson the werewolf cop (Kris Holden-Ried - Underworld 3 ) goes to a witch to cast a protection spell on Bo. But the cost may be too high, even for him to bear. This gives us a couple of cliffhangers for next Season.

    Shown 11/Sep/11

It is time for the Light Fae to select a new Ash as their leader. They test the candidates by making them hunt a convict in a death chase.

Bo and Kenzi get lured in by the convict's sob story. She was imprisoned 80 years ago for falling in love with a Dark Fae. Evidently the Light Fae are not much higher morally speaking than the other team. Bo recruits Dyson the werewolf cop (Kris Holden-Ried - Underworld 3 ) and her other friends to interfere with the hunt and save the convict.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 2, Episode 3] Scream a Little Dream
    Shown 18/Sep/11

Bo is called in to help an apartment block full of humans who have been driven insane by their bad dreams. But the dreams are caused by a Dark Fae who has her sights set on the succubus.

Kenzi hires a housekeeper, a Brownie - a Light Fae who gets paid in cereal!

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 2, Episode 4] Mirror, Mirror
    Shown 25/Sep/11

Kenzi gets in touch with her East European heritage, and invokes the curse of Baba Yaga against Dyson the werewolf cop (Kris Holden-Ried - Underworld 3 ). He and Bo are both branded with the witch's mark, something the other Fae are more or less powerless against.

Dyson has been acting like a liberated, empowered man now he no longer loves Bo. His punishment is to be rejected - and violently attacked - by every woman who sets eyes on him.

Bo, as a Naughty Girl, will have her bones taken to build up the walls of Baba Yaga's hut. Unless she kicks the witch's ass first.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 2, Episode 5] BrotherFae of the Wolves
    Shown 02/Oct/11

Doctor Lauren ( Zoie Palmer ) decides she does not want to belong to the new Ash any more. She hides out with Bo and Kenzi.

Dyson the werewolf cop (Kris Holden-Ried - Underworld 3 ) teams up with an old friend, who is in town to retrieve a stolen superweapon. It is a politically delicate business, so they hire Bo and Kenzi to help. We get a lot of flashbacks to Dyson's mystic pseudo-medieval Keltic origins, In days of old when men were bold. Naturally, not everything is what it seems.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 2, Episode 6] It's Better to Burn Out Than Fae Away
    Shown 30/Oct/11

The Morrigun ( Emanuelle Vaugier ) has a few Dark Fae problems. One of her human minions has gone rogue, bringing a lot of attention to Dark Fae business. She hires Bo to sort it out.

Finally we get to see the Dark Fae actually do something. About bloody time! The Dyson story arc is set aside for a week - presumably he is off bothering Kate Beckinsale and her vamp pals in the new Underworld Film.

Meanwhile, the new Ash is after Doctor Lauren ( Zoie Palmer ).

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 2, Episode 7] Fae Gone Wild
    Shown 06/Nov/11

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 2, Episode 8] Death Didn't Become Him
    Shown 13/Nov/11

A Fae's body is stolen by Graverobbers who look like General Patton and Annie Oakley. Bo is hired to recover the corpse. The creature responsible is a Liche, who can raise the dead.

While Bo and Dyson the werewolf cop (Kris Holden-Ried - Underworld 3 ) are searching for the corpse, their sidekicks play babysitter to the Fae equivalent of Paris Hilton. How can that possibly go wrong?

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 2, Episode 9] Original Skin
    Shown 20/Nov/11

The regular cast are hanging out in Trick's bar when a stranger enters. He is a Dark Fae bounty Hunter chasing a dangerous fugitive, and he will not let anyone leave until he gets his monster. Yes, this is the predictable Dangerous Hours episode.

Half-way through, the ep changes cliches and becomes the Body-swop episode! The fugitive spiked the beer with Gorgon blood, so the males and females switch bodies. In all fairness, Farscape did it better.

Despite the gimmicky nature of the ep - any one of the two cliches could be a jump-the-shark moment - there is a story arc revelation about the new Ash.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 2, Episode 10] Raging Fae
    Shown 27/Nov/11

Bo goes undercover at a Gymn where a human is cage-fighting Fae ... And winning.

Kenzi tries to distract Bo's stalker - The sister of Bo's first BF/victim ...

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 2, Episode 12] Masks
    Shown 11/Dec/11

The Ash tells Bo how to cure the Lady Doctor's girlfriend. The Quest will not be easy, but Bo has Dyson the werewolf cop (Kris Holden-Ried - Underworld 3 ) to help her. Of course, the Ash has his own agenda.

Kenzi, Hale and Trick organise a surprise party for Bo. Aaron Ashmore ( Warehouse 13 ) pops up as Kenzi's new love interest. And there's even a new love interest for the succubus.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 2, Episode 13] Barometz. Trick. Pressure
    Shown 18/Dec/11

It is the night of the Blood Moon. Trick uses his magic powers as Blood King to see into the future. Something wicked this way comes ...

Bo goes hunting for the Ash. Well, hunting him, anyway. Finally they get to fight it out over Doctor Lauren ( Zoie Palmer ).

Kenzi has a chance at a normal life with Aaron Ashmore. Since he did not last forever in Smallville or Warehouse 13 , how long will he stay around here?

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 2, Episode 14] Midnight Lamp
    Shown 22/Jan/12

Bo takes another job from the Ash - she must trap a Genie ( Lauren Holly ). Kenzi is busy (mentioned only as sending texts), so Bo has her new Lurve Interest along instead. He is the male model type she met a couple of eps ago, although he turns out to be an uninhibited tech nerd type.

Dyson the werewolf cop (Kris Holden-Ried - Underworld 3 ) has a quest of his own. He goes back to the witch, to find out why he cannot love his new GF. The answer is not to his liking.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 2, Episode 15] Table for Fae
    Shown 29/Jan/12

Kenzi and her musician BF (Aaron Ashmore - Smallville, Warehouse 13 ) are back in town after their gig tour. Bo's BF takes them out for a slap-up meal at his favourite restaurant. He even tries to set the musician up with a top-notch agent - The Morrigun ( Emmanuelle Vaugier ).

Hale investigates a case of mysterious death-by-aging. Like in Buffy: Anne and so many other shows. He is overworked due to handling Dyson the wolfman's anger-issues. Bo takes up the slack, tracking down the Fae responsible.

The Lachlan/Garuda arc is not even mentioned. But the BF's Dark Fae loyalties really create a lot of conflict this time. And it seems that this will become a very big issue later on.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 2, Episode 16] School's Out
    Shown 12/Feb/12

Cheerleaders are getting super-inteligent, then ending up in comas. It looks like a Fae-related IQ-boosting drug may be involved. Dyson the werewolf cop (Kris Holden-Ried - Underworld 3 ) goes undercover as the Guidance Counsellor, while Bo plays Teacher and Kenzi enrolls as a schoolgirl.

Bo pretends she has broken up with her Dark Fae BF. Her ex, the lady Doctor, is back - with her overly-affectionate GF. Dyson is alone again, ditched by his lost love.

A fire-demon assassinates the leader of one of the three ruling Light Fae clans. Dyson the werewolf cop (Kris Holden-Ried - Underworld 3 ) and Bo are assigned to find the killer, and protect the other clan leaders. One suspect/potential victim is Hale's father.

Hale is called off the case because of a conflict of interest. He bribes Kenzi into pretending to be his GF. He wants to shock his family into becoming more tolerant of humans. Poor Kenzi is treated quite badly, but scrubs up REALLY nice. And her BF (Aaron Ashmore - Smallville, Warehouse 13 ) is jealous.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 2, Episode 18] Fae-nted Love
    Shown 04/Mar/12

Bo gives the Dark Fae a booty call. But she bleeds on him, and that roofies him into a loving (obsessive) boyfriend.

A water fae is brainwashing humans by baptising him. He splashes Bo too, and she gets memory-wiped. Then she meets her obsessive lover ...

The Ash gets Dyson the werewolf cop (Kris Holden-Ried - Underworld 3 ) to interrogate a suspect. Can an under-fae talk Dyson into suicide? This Hannibal Lecter wannabe gives it a shot.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 2, Episode 19] Truth and Consequences
    Shown 11/Mar/12

The Ash is looking to secure his position among the Light Fae. He tells Bo that his Feminazi rival ( Ingrid Kavelaars ) is willing to team up with the Garuda, and start a war against the Dark Fae. Bo is selected to assassinate (or kidnap) the rival. But the victim is not as defenceless as she seems.

Trick asks Hale to spy on the Ash. The Ash is similarly distrustful of Trick.

Kenzi has to make a choice - her BF or Bo.

Lauren's GF is still acting strange. This part of the story arc may come to a close as well.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 2, Episode 20] Lachlan's Gambit
    Shown 18/Mar/12

The heroes team up against the Garuda. But he is out of their class.

Dyson the werewolf cop (Kris Holden-Ried - Underworld 3 ) is back. Hale berates his old partner for abandoning him - even though it was Hale who forced Dyson out in the first place!

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 2, Episode 21] Into The Dark
    Shown 25/Mar/12

Bo realises she needs help from the Dark Fae too. She goes to the Morrigun ( Emanuelle Vaugier ), and asks for Vex. Unfortunately, Vex has played a practical joke on the Morrigun and is now in her dungeon. Bo must retrieve a mysterious briefcase from the Ash's store.

The Red Caps, a horde of bloodthirsty Dark Fae, are also after the briefcase ... and Vex.

Kenzi helps Dyson the werewolf cop (Kris Holden-Ried - Underworld 3 ) get his wolf-mojo back.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 2, Episode 22] Flesh and Blood
    Shown 01/Apr/12

Bo tries to get her team to act as a unified entity, so they stop fighting among themselves. She has Doctor Lauren ( Zoie Palmer ) inject them all with her blood. Of course, Vexx (the dark fae, who is the Spike character down to his fake English accent) has other plans.

The Garuda kidnaps Trick, and tries to co-opt him. He shows a vision from Trick's past: the end of the Fae Wars. Trick had a castle in Ireland, typical of the American immigrant-origins fixation.

    Season 3

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 3, Episode 1] Caged Fae
    Shown 06/Jan/13

Bo goes on a crime spree, and Dyson the werewolf cop (Kris Holden-Ried - Underworld 3 ) has to track her down. Is her dark side asserting itself? This may have something to do with her father, apparently an unknown (but powerful) Dark Fae.

The prison is run by the Amazons, a violent group of man-haters. Doctor Lauren ( Zoie Palmer ) is the prison doctor.

Vex, the former Dark Fae, is now the girls' flatmate. He tries to fit in by helping Dyson.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 3, Episode 2] SubterrFaenean
    Shown 13/Jan/13

Dyson the werewolf cop (Kris Holden-Ried - Underworld 3 ) has a new partner - Tamsin ( Rachel Skarsten ). Not only is she unbelievably attractive, she is also a Dark Fae!

The new Ash (Dyson's old partner) has a special plan for the homeless Fae who live in the disused subway tunnels. The cops have to stop Bo from interfering.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 3, Episode 3] ConFaegion
    Shown 20/Jan/13

Bo is still being targetted by the Morrigun ( Emanuelle Vaugier ). Vex decides to get his status back among the Dark Fae by betraying Bo. But can he turn on his new BFF, Kenzi?

The Morrigun infects Bo, Dyson the werewolf cop (Kris Holden-Ried - Underworld 3 ) and Dyson's new partner Tamsin ( Rachel Skarsten ) with a parasite that reverts them to teenagers, before their powers developed. They physically look the same, but act like a cliched idea of what teenagers are meant to be like.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 3, Episode 4] Fae-de To Black
    Shown 27/Jan/13

Dyson the werewolf cop (Kris Holden-Ried - Underworld 3 ) and his new partner Tamsin ( Rachel Skarsten ) investigate a slew of accidental deaths involving humans who tried (and failed) to perform circus routines. It looks like a Fae may be responsible ...

Bo goes undercover as a psychotherapist at a New Age clinic. Her arrogance leads to a fight with her GF, Doctor Lauren ( Zoie Palmer ). Her healing powers are also on the fritz, so she has to use Dyson to heal herself.

Kenzi hangs out with Hale, AKA The New Ash. But she gets in the way, and Trick advises Hale to dispense with her services. Unfortunately for Kenzi, she genuinely needs help with her own issues.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 3, Episode 5] Faes Wide Shut
    Shown 10/Feb/13

Bo and Doctor Lauren ( Zoie Palmer ) are in search of someone to take Bo's sexual heat. Anyone except Dyson the werewolf cop (Kris Holden-Ried - Underworld 3 ), that is.

Bo goes undercover at a sex club, to investigate mysterious deaths.

Meanwhile, Kenzi acts strangely out of character. She starts doing research, to start with. Then she plays mindgames on Lauren and Trick, to turn them away from Bo.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 3, Episode 6] The Kenzi Scale
    Shown 17/Feb/13

Bo drags Kenzi into Trick's bar, and announces that Kenzi has been replaced by some shapeshifter.

The Morrigun ( Emanuelle Vaugier ) plots against Bo, and orders Tamsin the Valkyrie ( Rachel Skarsten ) to pursue her. But the Valkyrie has her own ideas.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 3, Episode 7] There's Bo Place Like Home
    Shown 03/Mar/13

Bo is devolving into an Under-fae. To slow this, she must confront her estranged parents. So she and Kenzi take a road-trip to her home town, a small farming community in the midwest.

Unfortunately, Bo's High School classmates are dying in mysterious accidents. It turns out that a ghostly Under-fae, Lady Polly, was accidentally unleashed during a High Schooler seance.

    Shown 10/Mar/13

Tamsin the Valkyrie ( Rachel Skarsten ) takes Bo to unwind in a Dark Fae bar, where she gets lured into a quest by a Dark Fae Pixie. She and the Valkyrie must go to a Dark Fae shanty-town outside the city, where the criminal underbelly resides. Yes, and you thought the Morrigun and Vex were dodgy!

Back in the Bar, Trick must play a game that affects Bo's luck. If he is successful, she will not die.

Elsewhere, Doctor Lauren ( Zoie Palmer ) is waiting for Bo to be her plus-one at a Medical awards ceremony. Whose career will come first?

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 3, Episode 9] Ceremony
    Shown 17/Mar/13

Bo has to undergo the Fae ritual known as The Dawning. She has to travel through familiar-looking sets and locations, and complete a quest to find a key. Dyson the werewolf cop (Kris Holden-Ried - Underworld 3 ), who has not appeared much in recent eps, volunteers to be Bo's guide and helper.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 3, Episode 10] Delinquents
    Shown 24/Mar/13

Tamsin the Valkyrie ( Rachel Skarsten ) gets a visit from an old friend - Lynda Hamilton . They hang out, talk about the old times (they helped Tecumseh in the War of 1812) and plot against Bo!

A murderous underfae is bumping off teenagers at the Borstal version of Camp Crystal Lake. With the Valkyrie on vacation, Dyson the werewolf cop (Kris Holden-Ried - Underworld 3 ) needs reinforcements. Bo goes undercover as Camp Counselor, while Kenzi bonds with her fellow wayward teens.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 3, Episode 11] Adventures in Fae-bysitting
    Shown 31/Mar/13

A suburban Babysitter gets a spooky phonecall, and thinks she is being stalked by a supernatural entity. To prevent further horror movie cliches, Bo and Kenzi go undercover in suburbia.

Kenzi gets babysitting duties. Finally she gets to see what her life would have been like if she was middle-class and suburban.

Dyson the werewolf cop (Kris Holden-Ried - Underworld 3 ) and Tamsin the Valkyrie ( Rachel Skarsten ), hung over and looking much the worse for wear, investigate the death of the human woman that Bo was accused of feeding on. They discover a much deeper mystery.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 3, Episode 12] Hail, Hale
    Shown 07/Apr/13

The Light Fae hold Hale's inauguration as the Ash. In the interests of peaceful cooperation, Hale invites the Morrigun ( Emanuelle Vaugier ). But she is a bitch, as always, and furthers her own agenda.

Tamsin the Valkyrie ( Rachel Skarsten ) is still hitting the bottle pretty hard, and she is a sloppy drunk. She hangs around with Bo a lot - how long before Bo realises the Valkie is targeting her?

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 3, Episode 13] Those Who Wander
    Shown 14/Apr/13

Bo has to get Tamsin the Valkyrie ( Rachel Skarsten ) healed up, because it will take two of them to free Dyson the werewolf cop (Kris Holden-Ried - Underworld 3 ).

Doctor Lauren ( Zoie Palmer ) faces temptation. Sooner or later a human was going to uncover the existence of the Fae, just like the Hunters would in Supernatural . The question is, will she side with her Fae oppressors? Or will she sacrifice Dyson to save Bo?

The Morrigun ( Emanuelle Vaugier ) has defeated Hale, and Kenzi is her prisoner. Or so it seems ...

There are so many loose ends to tie up, so the ep seems a bit disjointed. Almost as if certain linking scenes were cut in order to save time.

The end has cliffhangers regarding Bo's mother - and her father.

    Season 4

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 4, Episode 1] In Memoriam
    Shown 10/Nov/13

Everyone has forgotten that Bo even existed. Kenzi and Dyson the werewolf cop (Kris Holden-Ried - Underworld 3 ) are Private Eyes, and Aiofe hires them to hunt down the daughter she suspects she had.

Vex is the new Morrigun, even though it is a female title. Trick is around, giving helpful advice. Hale is back working as Dyson's partner ... there does not appear to be a new Ash!

The team learn that someone has tampered with their memories. They infiltrate a party held by The Collector (George Takei - Star Trek: TOS ). Hale and Kenzi try dancing the tango, while Dyson gets flirted at by a Nymph ( Mia Kirshner ).

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 4, Episode 2] Sleeping Beauty School
    Shown 17/Nov/13

Dyson the werewolf cop (Kris Holden-Ried - Underworld 3 ) goes to the crash site to find Tamsin the Valkyrie ( Rachel Skarsten ). All he finds is a pre-teen child, presumably the result of Tamsin reverting to childhood state. Kenzi has to babysit.

Dyson and Hale get a tip from a Nymph ( Mia Kirshner ). But is she trustworthy?

Vex was the new Morrigun, but his powers (both personal and political) seem useless. The old Morrigun ( Emanuelle Vaugier ) is MIA, and some villainous types are looking for her. The little weasel offers to hand over Doctor Lauren ( Zoie Palmer ) in order to save his own life.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 4, Episode 3] Lovers. Apart.
    Shown 24/Nov/13

Dyson the werewolf cop (Kris Holden-Ried - Underworld 3 ) and Clio ( Mia Kirshner ) have boarded the train - but Bo has already escaped.

Bo's escape takes her to a haunted house. The Pater familias (Lochlyn Munro - Jason vs Freddy ) does not want her interfering in family business, but she is the only one who can save his family.

Bo looks different than in previous Seasons - more volumptuous. Not unlike the physical changes that Charisma Carpenter underwent in Angel: Season 4 . It turns out that the reason she looks different, and the reason she did not appear in the first couple of episodes, may have the same reason as Ms Carpenter's - namely, pregnancy (in this case, during the mid-Season hiatus).

The old Morrigun ( Emanuelle Vaugier ) is on the prowl again, trying to get her power back from Vex. And Vex is still trying to catch Bo and Doctor Lauren ( Zoie Palmer ).

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 4, Episode 4] Turn to Stone
    Shown 01/Dec/13

Tamsin the Valkyrie has another growth spurt, so she looks like Rachel Skarsten again. Except when she has her Fae face on, which can virtually scare people to death. Unfortunately she is technically only two weeks old, so she needs a babysitter all the time.

Kenzi still owes Massimo the Druid for all the Fae Dust she got. He decides to pressure her into paying, but of course he has a secret agenda of his own.

The Fae Elders have an agenda of their own as well. They have plans for several characters, including Bo herself.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 4, Episode 5] Let the Dark Times Roll
    Shown 08/Dec/13

Bo wants to know how she became Dark Fae. Evany the previous Morrigun ( Emanuelle Vaugier ) is back - she hires Bo to find Vex, and bring him to justice. She also invites Kenzi and Tamsin to a Dark Fae party - which turns into a dance-off ... to the death!

Doctor Lauren ( Zoie Palmer ) is back, while Dyson the werewolf cop (Kris Holden-Ried - Underworld 3 ) - and presumably Hale too - are off somewhere looking for her.

Meanwhile, Trick gets a caller - and a new job offer.

    Shown 14 Dec 14

Bo ends up in the Ancient Greek afterlife. It turns out that her father is a big name in the Underworld, so to speak. She chooses to see her mother (super-villain of Season One) as a victim.

Tamsin’s sister comes to Earth to claim one of Bo’s friends to replace Kenzi in Valhalla. Dyson the werewolf cop (Kris Holden-Ried - Underworld 3 ) takes her on a guided tour, with the aim of delivering her one of his rivals.

Kenzi is only a guest-star. She may be disturbingly skinny and clad in a variety of OTT costumes and wigs (if Anna Silk tried Kenzi’s look, she would be taken as a drag queen) ... but her snappy dialogue makes her the heart and soul of this show.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 5, Episode 3] Big in Japan
    Shown 21 Dec 14

Bo ( Anna Silk ) has lost her sex drive, which means she cannot heal. Presumable she has lost her Chi-sucking powers too, though they were working fine when she took care of the three lonely guys in the first episode of the Season. But the point is that she cannot heal so she is at her most vulnerable.

Bo and Tamsin the Valkyrie ( Rachel Skarsten ) head out for a night on the town to cheer themselves up. They wind up getting hired as bodyguards by Musashi, the Chosen One of a samurai dynasty. They are terrible bodyguards, but he is not a great Chosen One either.

Evany ( Emanuelle Vaugier ) has married a very rich man. Some of the money has been invested in the Doctor's clinic, in the hope she can reverse the de-Faeification process.

Unfortunately it is a magical stuffed cat and it takes the Doctor’s luck to compensate. Also, it starts to turn Bo into a cat, starting with her behaviour and then eventually making a physical conversion.

Bo has a case. Apparently she has a friend who is an Oracle. After a night of blind dating, the Oracle is apparently abducted. The result is a Sea of Love type sting operation, but without any of the eroticism of that film.

The Wolf-man’s son starts working in Trick’s bar. Vex (the current Morrigun?) is drinking there, and they start to bond.

Tamsin the Valkyrie ( Rachel Skarsten ) must come to terms with the fact that she is not the love of Bo's life. It turns out that Bo is not the only one who swings both ways.

    Shown 27 Sep 15

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 5, Episode 13] Family Portrait
    Shown 04 Oct 15

Bo goes to have a family dinner with her parents, who seem to be a happy couple. After all, she is the murderous super-villain of Season One while he is only the King of the Underworld.

Bo's mother reveals that Trick betrayed her twice. Firstly he handed her over to the Dark Fey for the crime of avenging her mother's death at their hands in the Great War. Even though he knew she was being held prisoner, he did not negotiate to free her. Secondly, after she was free he put her in a lunatic asylum and left her there. So we must ask ourselves, who is the real villain - Trick or Hades? And when it comes down to it, can the Blood King defeat the underworld king?

Tamsin finds out she had sex with a Transgender person. She promptly vomits. Is this a sign of deep-seated Trans-phobia, or is it morning sickness?

Bo and Kenzi go looking for the magic Horse of hades. They need Bo's midwife, so they drop by Evony's palace. She sends them to her stables, where they go pony-treking. The good news is, Kenzi gets to ride an (albeit flatulent) Unicorn. The bad news is, the magic horse turns out to be more of a metaphor.

Dyson summons all the powerful Light Fey. His son invites the Dark Fey too. The ones who turn up are impressive-looking but we have never seen them before, so there is no context given despite this being the penultimate episode of a Five Season Arc.

Lost Girl Lost Girl [Season 5, Episode 16] Rise
    Shown 25 Oct 15

Jack (Eric Roberts - ) uses Bo to carry out his plan. She sucks the Chi out of everyone in the city, and he can then possess them all. Next thing you know, the city is full of brainwashed fast zombies.

Our heroes get in Vex's camper van and drive into battle. Their plan is to talk to Bo, to remind her how much she loves them. Yes, they want to use the power of love to defeat Hades. Even the climax of Once Upon A Time (Season 5) was better than this.

There is also an epilogue, concerning Tamsin's daughter. All in all, the story is well tied up.
